I have done a lot of work with a variety of techniques and software packages, including Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Photoshop, and After Effects. I have also worked with Mental Ray, PR Renderman, and Mantra. This is a small sample of my work, showcasing my skills in lighting, texturing, shading, and compositing.
This Mental Ray render was created in Maya 2014. Responsible for all modeling (except fork, spoon, and bottle cap), shading, texturing, and lighting.
A PR Renderman render using Image Based Lighting (IBL), Rib Archives, and an HDRI environment. Made in Maya 2013.
(Work in progress) Screenshot from the upcomming short animation "Glut", directed by Georgie Fleites. Non-traditional rendering technique for a soft-cell shaded look.
Custom Programmed PR Renderman shader used to create leave textures. Made in Maya 2013.
A recreation of a photograph, this Mantra render was created in Houdini 2013.
This is a PR Renderman render, created using RIB Wrangling, coded by hand.
A PR Renderman render of the inside of the snowglobe showing a closeup of Santa's workshop.
This seemingly 2D render inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night is actually a fully 3D render, made in Mental Ray using Maya 2013. I manipulated the shaders to give a 2D paintbrush effect.
